Scholarship funds will be disbursed only to a bank account in the name of the scholarship recipient. If the recipient is a minor (under the applicable legal age), funds may be disbursed to the legal guardian’s account only after submission of valid proof of guardianship and the guardian’s signed acceptance.

• Student’s individual bank account in the student’s full legal name — preferred.
• Minor students: guardian’s bank account in the guardian’s full legal name, with proof of relationship and a signed guardian authorization form.
• Joint accounts: permitted only if the student’s full legal name appears as an account holder and supporting ID is provided.
• No payments to accounts belonging solely to teachers, administrators, school/college bank accounts, or unrelated third parties.

For all recipients:

• Copy of student’s government-issued photo ID (or birth certificate for younger children).
• Copy of student’s government-issued photo ID (or birth certificate for younger children).
• Bank passbook page or bank statement showing: account holder name, account number, IFSC/branch (or equivalent).
•  Cancelled cheque or bank account verification letter.

If paying to a guardian:

•  Guardian’s government photo ID.
• Proof of relationship (birth certificate, school record, or legal guardianship document).
•  Signed Guardian Authorization & Indemnity form accepting receipt on the student’s behalf.

1. Organiser/school will verify that the name on the bank account matches the student’s name (or matches the guardian when permitted).
2. Copies of IDs and bank proofs will be cross-checked.
3. Any mismatch requires correction and re-submission before payment.
4.  Organizer has the right to contact the bank for account validation if necessary.

• If a student is unable to open an account (remote area or banking limitation), the organiser may consider alternatives (e.g., demand draft/cheque in student’s name or digital wallet) only after documented justification and senior management approval.
•  Temporary exceptions must be recorded in writing and countersigned by an authorised official.

• After verification, the organizer will notify the student/guardian in writing (email/SMS/letter) with the expected payment date and transaction reference.
• Receipt of funds must be acknowledged in writing by the student or the guardian who received the payment.

• Payments made to unauthorized third parties are subject to recovery attempts. The organizer is not responsible for funds credited to incorrect or third-party accounts if the account details were submitted and signed off by the student/guardian.
• False information or forgery will lead to forfeiture of the scholarship and may result in disciplinary or legal action.

• If a student believes a payment was wrongly credited, they must notify the organizer within 7 (or organization-specified) days with supporting evidence.
• The organizer will investigate and, if at fault, will cooperate to recover funds and re-issue payment to the correct account.
